Sasha and Digweed to headline SW4

John Digweed and Sasha have been announced as the headliners for this year's SW4 festival in London.

2009 marks the sixth year of SW4, and yet again it will be held on Clapham Common on the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend. John Digweed is somewhat of an SW4 veteran, what with him playing four out of the five previous events. "It’s fantastic to headline this year's SW4," says Diggers. "It’s a very well organised event that brings out a really cool crowd, and the line-ups always feature the cream of electronic talent. It's not often you get to play a big outdoors gig in the centre of London and each year it seems to sell out quicker!"

Sasha and Diggers will attempt to recreate the vibe of their now legendary Twilo residency with a back-to-back set that will close proceedings on the main stage. "We don’t do that many festival shows together," continues John, "so we're both really looking forward to SW4 as London is the clubbing capital in the UK and the crowd really know their music. We never really plan anything, but I’m sure there will be some surprises in our set!" The rest of the line-up is still to be announced
