The reason: Intel have searched high and low for the finest up and coming laptop DJ and VJ talent. The search culminates on June 27 with a competition judged by DJ Yoda, A Skillz, The Autobots, VJ Anyone and Bopa. It's an invite-only bash and we've got tickets for you!
Whether you're a traditional vinylhead, a CDr wizard or a laptop lothario, no one can deny the amazing array of options available to today's DJs. While performing on a laptop has been dogged with numerous problems in the past (price, crashing mid-set), the proliferation and rapid progression of technology has led to it becomming a far more viable option. Intel have recognised this, and believe their Core 2 Duo processors make things more viable than ever.
The competition to find the most exciting laptop DJ and VJ talent will not only include battles for digital supremacy but will also include sets from Yoda, A Skillz and the Autobots making this one exciting media bash.
The closing date for performance entries passed last week, but that shouldn't stop you from getting down to Cargo and witnessing the next level audio/visual talent.
